Our first presentation describes how we incorporate all 6 strands of the PE curriculum.
Our next presentation outlines all the activity we encourage that is outside the guidelines of the P.E. Curriculum, but falls under the heading Physical Activity.
In order to achieve our Physical Education and other Physical Activities we need to work together with internal and external partners. We have a wonderful Active School Committee helping out internally, but we partner with many outside agencies, especially during Active Schools Week.
Every year we have an Active Schools Week. We try hard to provide new experiences to children to sample activities that they might pursue outside school that they may never have thought to try. Its a fun week for both children and teachers. We are grateful to all the partners who provide services free of charge to our school during this week.
