Maths Week 2020
We had a great time celebrating Maths Week! We had fun playing Maths games, taking part in a Shape Hunt, weighing and measuring, and making patterns.
Hedgehogs!
Tara’s Senior Infants have been making hedgehogs out of clay. The children did a super job of creating a little home for the hedgehogs on the window sills. They look like they are ready to hibernate!
At the Doctor!
Adrienne’s Junior Infants are really enjoying their Aistear this week. The theme is At the Doctor. They have created a Doctor’s surgery, learned lots of words associated with the doctor and treated lots of patients! They even discovered that sitting in the Doctor’s Waiting Room is a good place to read!
Child Protection
Our updated Child Safeguarding Statements and Risk Assessment are available now in the Policies section of the website. These documents are updated annually in September.
Sea of Change Choir
We had a visit from some members of the Sea of Change Choir. They chatted about how much fun they have singing together and they sangs some songs for us. We enjoyed singing along!
A Visit from the Librarian
We were so lucky that Assumpta from Baldoyle Library came to visit us. She read us a story and we talked about how the library works. She also gave us application forms to bring home so we can get our very own library cards!
